Alanya is a well-admired seaside resort located in southern Turkey
at about 150km east of Antalya.
You can find in its east and west
side the most beautiful beaches in Turkey and the Taurus Mountain
gives a breathtaking background to its north that adds a more

The old Alanya rests on the great rocky peninsula that protrudes out

or the Cape of the Dripping Stones can be reached by walk. This
beautiful cave has mass of exceptional stalagmites and stalactites
that deemed to benefit those who suffer from asthma because of its
warm moist atmosphere. This is one of the rare caves in Anatolia
which attracts Turkish and foreign tourists.
Damlatas Cave was accidentally discovered in 1948. From the Permian
Period of the Paleozoic Age, it formed a semi-crystallized limestone
and was shaped by erosion over thousands of years. Aside from the
cultural and historical sights that Alanya has to offer, it also has
unbeatable beach life too. And one of the most attractive beaches
here in Alanya is the Cleopatra beach that is incomparable with many
resorts along it sides.
The beach is located in the west of the historical peninsula
fronting the Damlatas Cave. Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, according to
mythology visits this place while she was on a voyage in
Mediterranean and had a swim in the bay for one day. The small bay
of this beach extending to the peninsula is made of stones which
called Cleopatra. The clearness of its water and the sandy shore is
what makes Cleopatra special.
The town of Alanya has a multicultural lifestyle
